Muffins with Dark Chocolate Drops

Muffins with Dark Chocolate Drops

These muffins are so easy to make and keep around as a snack. The dark chocolate chips are bakestable so they keep their crunch adding a bit of texture to the muffin.
Servings 12 muffins



  • Preheat the oven to 190°C
  • Mix together the sugar, salt, eggs, oil, milk and vanilla and set aside
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder
  • Pour the wet ingredients you have set aside into the dry ingredients
  • Add the chocolate chips and mix gently until combined
  • Spoon mixture into greased muffin tin until 2/3 full and sprinkle some granualted sugar on top
  • Bake at 190°C for 18-23 minutes until golden and a cocktail stick comes out clean


After removing from the oven, cool for 5-10 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack. Once fully cooled, store in an airtight container.
